Elders for Sound Democracy (ESD) typically hosts monthly online Community Meetings and its Democracy Forum Speakers Series on the third Wednesday of each month, from 10:00–11:30 am PT / 1:00–2:30 pm ET. The Democracy Forum brings leading thinkers, advocates, and organizers together with our community of engaged elders to help us understand today’s challenges and explore practical ways to strengthen our democracy.
The week after each Community Meeting, ESD also hosts a Conversation for Democracy—an open discussion for anyone who cares about protecting democratic values. ESD leadership welcomes elders seeking meaningful ways to contribute, shares updates on our work, and facilitates a collaborative conversation on new ideas and initiatives. Additional timely events are offered throughout the year as opportunities arise.
